1.Once you've taken the first step to gaining control of your hair loss by calling Miami Hair Restoration, the staff will schedule a complimentary consultation at a time convenient for you.
2.When you arrive at the state-of-the-art Miami Hair Restoration facility, you will be greeted by a member of our team and asked to fill out some basic health information. This information serves to help us understand you and tailor your treatment needs.
3.After all your paperwork has been filled out, you will be escorted to an examination room. Here you will meet with a Miami Hair Restoration team member who will provide you with information about hair loss, the procedure and our philosophy. Then we will ask you a series of questions about your lifestyle and expectations.
4.Now you’re ready to meet with the surgeon. Dr. Salloum will give your hairline a thorough examination to determine what level of hair loss you are experiencing and how many grafts it will take to achieve the results you desire. Dr. Salloum will also be able to answer any questions you may have about the procedure.
5.After the consultation, you will sit with the patient coordinator who will go over the pricing and scheduling of the procedure.
6.On the morning of your procedure you may be picked up from your home or hotel and driven to Miami Hair Restoration, if you choose.
7.Your procedure will take most of the day. You will get a break for lunch that is provided by Miami Hair Restoration. When the procedure is complete, you will be given antibiotics and pain medication to take home with you. For more information about the procedure itself, please click here.
8.After the procedure is complete, you will be driven back to your home or hotel.
9.Most patients can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure, with the exception of strenuous exercise, which should be avoided for two weeks.
10.48 hours after the procedure, you may wash your hair.
11.The tiny crusts visible on the scalp directly after the surgery will disappear completely in 7-10 days.
